Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection

The largest aircraft collection in Southern Norway, with 40 military planes and helicopters from all the eras of the Royal Norwegian Air Force, from 1912 up to present day.

Many of the planes are unique, and among  the aircraft on display are Norway's first airplane, rare items from World War II and all the different jets that the Norwegian Air Force used during the Cold War. The museum also shows historical uniforms, models, objects, engines, photo montages and films.

Groups can tour the museum outside of regular opening hours – contact to make an appointment.

Café with hot and cold drinks, waffles, hot dogs and other snacks.

To get to the museum, take the bus or the train to Oslo Airport, then shuttle S33 from platform 39. There are also three hourly Ruter bus departures to the bus stop Lilleplassen just north of the museum.
If you are coming by car, there is free parking next to the museum.
